Photos of Pro-government demonstrations in Bahrain by photographer Rizami Annuar
Our photographer Rizami Annuar, who is based in Bahrain, has sent us these images of a pro-government rally in Manama, Bahrain.
The Bahrain majority comprises of mainly Muslim Shiite who are demanding political reform and freedoms from the Muslim Sunni ruling class. The demonstrations began in Bahrain's capital city Manama on Sunday 13th February, and are continuing on a daily basis with no sign of slowing down. There have been various clashes with the security forces with reportedly some deaths as a result.
However, the images Rizami has supplied below show the other side: Bahrain Pro-Government supporters who are now coming out in response to the original protesters.
